Dr. John McDougall is the Director of QA/QC at Affitech A/S. John joined Affitech AS in Oslo, Norway, as Senior Scientist in 2004, working on Affitech projects within both the MBASTM and CBASTM technology, and was instrumental in establishing the Protein Expressions and Purification Group.
In 2007 John moved over to the QA/QC function, where he focused on quality and operations and in 2009, John became the Director of QA/QC.
John received his education in Canada, after which he spent three years with his own group at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics, in Berlin.
Following five years at the University of Tromsø, in northern Norway, John worked in the pharmaceutical company, Alpharma, developing recombinant subunit components for vaccines.
After ten years at Alpharma, John finally joinied Affitech.
