Prime minister visits Affitech
In December 2000, Affitech AS had the pleasure of hosting the Norwegian Prime Minister, Jens Stoltenberg, at the Company’s Oslo facility. During his visit, the Prime Minister was guided through the Company’s research laboratories, followed by discussions with Dr. Ole Jørgen Marvik, Affitechs' CEO, on present and future issues within the context of the Norwegian Biotechnology industry sector. Prime Minister Stoltenberg expressed particular interest in Affitech’s R&D activities as an example of a new generation of companies with an international outlook and tremendous growth potential.
