Affitech and Dynal became partners in a technology development project sponsored by the European Union in 1998. Since 1999, Affitech has been involved in a collaboration with Amersham Pharmacia Biotech. This has recently been extended to Nycomed Amersham for the development of human monoclonal antibodies for in vivo imaging technology. Further, Affitech signed a collaborative agreement with the Norwegian National Institute of Public Health with the aim of engineering human antibodies against infectious disease targets.
